Scott Vess is an accomplished financial professional with more than 20+ years of experience in the financial services and technology consulting sectors. Working at the crossroads of financial planning, data analytics and technology, he has a unique blend of operational and enterprise perspective on financial analysis and data strategy development, focusing on the role of technology as an enabler of business outcomes.
Scott has spent the last 15 years working on analytics, reporting and data projects in the financial services space for a variety of insurance and investment companies. As an advisor on financial systems and business intelligence, his primary focus has been on the design, development and implementation of technology solutions using Peoplesoft , the IBM Cognos BI toolset and Microsoft Power BI. He also has extensive experience in financial data warehouse development and the administration of SAP’s various cost accounting systems. Scott is currently a featured presenter for the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (OSCPA) annual Accounting Shows where he speaks on ways to further the adoption of data analytics within the finance and accounting space.
